With all its glitz and glamour, the 74th Cannes Film Festival didn’t disappoint. Walking the red carpet or attending photocalls in front of hundreds of photographers’ flash bulbs and under the beating sun on the Croisette, the stars came out with their best frames on. As for the Oscars and the Golden Globes, we then drew up our own list of nominees for most stylish stars and their glasses!

At the photocall for her film. Armageddon Time, the actress was dressed head-to-toe in Sixties-inspired Gucci. Her striking cat-eye shades with their horn-effect rim even threatened to eclipse her patent leather bustier mini-dress and Bvlgari jewelry.

Whether in a strapless navy couture ensemble or a red tweed suit, Chanel’s muse remains faithful to the fashion house founded on Rue Cambon. Complementing her outfits to perfection, she chose dark glasses (O’Maley) for the red carpet and shades with yellow lenses (TK-2) for her photocall, both designs by Oliver Peoples, which also makes Obama’s go-to glasses.
