A classy collection for spring-summer from Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham’s current eyewear collection takes after the designer herself, who is rarely spotted out of her high heels or structured jackets. The brand strives to be both original and classy, paying special attention to the finishes. Its range for spring-summer features 16 styles inspired by the 70s – think XXL frames and lenses – but with modern details like an eye-catching three-color gradient. Additionally, the colors are not just desirable, but especially well chosen. Sage green, rust and sky blue will all work perfectly with the yellow and pastel green shades making their way into our summer wardrobes.

Shelter and Patrick Norguet emphasizing the architectural quality of eyewear

Relaunched two years ago, the Shelter brand is reaffirming the strong relationship between architecture and eyewear. Teaming up with the French designer Patrick Norguet this season, the brand is focusing attention on the merging of two signature materials, wood and acetate. The result of this union? Ten pairs of optical glasses and sunglasses named after different cities and the architecture that inspired them: Paris, Las Vegas and Stockholm included. It’s certainly one way of expanding your horizons while our movement’s still restricted by the pandemic.
